Artists
No. XHIBT is designed to give independent artists another way to reach physical audiences. Existing representation does not automatically exclude you, but artists remain responsible for respecting any agreements they already have.
No. XHIBT curates matches based on the work, available spaces, audience, dimensions, logistics and each rotation.
Under the initial XHIBT model, 50% of the artwork selling price goes to the creator, 20% to the host and 30% to XHIBT. Applicable taxes and exceptional logistics may be handled separately.
Hosts
No. XHIBT is designed around hosting curated artwork rather than requiring locations to purchase a permanent collection.
The target rhythm is approximately every 8–12 weeks, depending on the artwork, location and curation requirements.
Under the initial model, the host receives 20% of the artwork selling price, and XHIBT coordinates the next stage of the rotation.
